1.1 Posting announcements

If you need to notify customers of an update, you can add an announcement to the Dworkin helpdesk dashboard, it will be visible to all who access the helpdesk portal


This comes in handy for instance if you don’t want your customers to alert you of something that you are already aware of.


To add an announcement, you don’t have to leave the dashboard.


1. Click on New Announcement. A lightbox opens up.


2. You can add the title and the body of the announcement. It also gives you the opportunity to give bulleted instruction of how to carry out a specific task. You can embolden, italicise underline etc. You can also hyperlink directly from the announcement page.


3. When you are finished preparing the announcement and wish to publish it, press Submit.
